Tindoll

Mr. Davis D. Tindoll, Jr. assumed the position of Director, Atlantic Region on August 11, 2011. Previously, he was Director, Southeast Region, Installation Management Command from June 2007 until the Region merged with Northeast Region to form the Atlantic Region.

Mr. Tindoll has served as Deputy Director of the Korea Region, IMCOM, a position he held from October 2004 until May 2007. Preceding his assignment in Korea, Mr. Tindoll served as the Chief of Staff of the Southeast Region, Installation Management Agency. 

Prior to civilian service, Mr. Tindoll served 30 years as a Regular Army Officer with assignments in Europe, Korea and the United States. Notable military assignments were Deputy Director of the Southeast Region, Installation Management Agency;  Chief of Staff for the Army Aviation Center;  Garrison Commander of Fort Rucker, Alabama;  G3/Director of Training for the Army Aviation School;  Squadron Commander of 2nd Squadron, 17th Cavalry, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault);  and was the Senior Trainer for Aviation at the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, Louisiana. Other leadership positions have been in multiple Cavalry, Aviation and Armor organizations.

Mr. Tindoll earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a Masters Degree from the Command & General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He was an honor graduate of the Armor Officer Basic Course and the Command and General Staff College, the Distinguished Graduate of the Armor Officer Advanced Course and has attended the School of Advanced Military Studies and the Army War College. Mr. Tindoll has received numerous achievement awards, including the Meritorious Civilian Service Medal, the Legion of Merit with 2 Oak Leafs, the Meritorious Service Medal with 9 Oak Leafs.
