On August 11, 2011, CSM Durr assumed duties as the Region Command Sergeant Major, Installation Management Command, Atlantic Region. He previously served as Command Sergeant Major, Southeast Region since November 2008. He holds an Associate Degree from the University of Maryland, a Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Leo University and is a candidate for a Masters Degree at Webster University.
CSM Durr’s previous assignments include First Sergeant, Mike Company S244th Quartermaster Battalion and later First Sergeant, Quartermaster Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Fort Lee, VA; Training Management Sergeant Major, Quartermaster Noncommissioned Officer Academy, Fort Lee, Virginia; Division Materiel Management Center Sergeant Major, 1st Support Command, 1st Infantry Division, and later CSM, 701st Main Support Battalion, Kitzingen, Germany; and CSM, United States Army Garrison, Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia.
His military education includes the Command Sergeants Major Course, Sergeants Major Course, Garrison Command Sergeants Major Course, First Sergeants Course, USAREUR First Sergeants Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officers Course, Drill Instructor Course, Instructor Development Course, Small Group Leader Course, Airborne School, and Air Assault School.
