Mr. Daniel J. Davis assumed duties as Chief of Staff, IMCOM-Central, 11 August 2011, responsible for the direct supervision and management of region staff to ensure the effective integration and synchronization of efforts in support of Army's priorities, IMCP, garrisons' mission, coach, mentor and teach region staff personnel and garrison key leaders, and serve as a key advisor to the Region Director regarding matters of personnel, manpower, budget, and command priorities.
Mr. Davis has held a variety of management and staff positions through his career to include: Chief of Staff, West Region, Fort Sam Houston, TX; Chief of Staff, Northwest Region, Rock Island, IL; CDR, SATMO, SWCS, Fort Bragg, NC; Sr UNMIK Military Liaison to KFOR, Pristina, Kosovo; CDR, USMILGP, Tegucigalpa, Honduras; Dir, International Army Programs, HQ TRADOC, Fort Monroe, VA; Chief, PolMil Division, SCJ5, Quarry Heights, Panama; and Executive Officer to the Chief of Staff, AFSOUTH, Naples, Italy
Mr. Davis' awards include Defense Superior Service Medal (2); Legion of Merit; Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (2); Humanitarian Service Medal; Overseas Medal (7); NATO Medal; UN Medal and Joint Meritorious Unit Award
Mr. Dan Davis earned his Bachelor of Science from US Military Academy of West Point and Master's Degree in education from the University of Florida.
